Rulers and Guides are thought as a design aid. You can configure the mouse cursor to snap on Grid and Guides. Miscellaneous Ruler Units can be used: centimeters, millimeters, inches and pixels.
Rulers Activation Method Menu View > Ruler Guides Activation Method Menu View > Guide Grid Activation Method Menu View > Grid Guide Usage To add Guides click on the Vertical or Horizontal Ruler. Drag and Drop the Guide to desired position. or Right click the Rulers to open the Guide Dialog To change Guide position click on the Guide and drag it to the desired coordinates. Ruler Origin To set the Ruler Origin click the button located at the intersection between Rulers. Click in Viewport to set Origin	Horizontal and Vertical Guides Origin set on Canvas

The Guide Dialog let you numerically specify the position of Guides.
Activation Method Menu Window > Guide Dialog or Right click Rulers Usage To add a Guide click the add Guide button To edit a Guide double click a Guide in the list or in Viewport To delete a Guide click delete Guide button To delete all Guides click clear Guides button Notes: Vertical Guides naming: VGuide1...VGuideN Horizontal Guides naming: HGuide1...HGuideN	Guide Dialog		Guide Dialog Add Guide Delete Guide Clear Guides
			Guide Parameters To show Guide parameters, double click a Guide in Guide Dialog list or in Viewport Vertical/Horizontal Defines if Vertical or Horizontal Guide Position Position of Guide in Ruler Units

Rulers and Guides Parameters		contents
You can set Rulers and Guides parameters such as Color, Units and Grid behavior
Activation Method Menu File > Program Settings or Double click Rulers Usage Configure Rulers, Guides and Grid		Ruler and Guide Parameters	Ruler and Guide Settings Ruler Units Unit of Ruler used trough the application. Can be cm, mm, inch and pixels. Ruler Background Color Background Color of Ruler, click to set Ruler Foreground Color Color of Ruler labeling, click to set Guide Color Color of Guides, click to set Grid Color Color of Grid, click to set Display Fine Grid on Zoom Displays the Grid for the tenth part of Ruler Unit, if zoom factor is greater than the specified value.
